Park Yoga, a free summer time outdoor yoga event that has taken place in Toronto's eastend parks since 2005 will officially commence again this year on Saturday June 4th and will continue right through the summer.

There is never any charge for classes but donations are warmly welcomed and each year a local charity is awarded a portion of the proceeds from monies collected. This year proceeds will go to support NELLIE'S SHELTER & PROGRAMS FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. A local non-profit organization since 1973, Nellie’s Shelter and Programs has helped to rebuild the lives of over 15,000 women and children away from violence, poverty, homelessness and despair.

TIMES & LOCATIONS:

SATURDAYS 10:00-11:00 AM - RIVERDALE PARK (south end off Broadview Ave. between Bridgepoint Hospital and the large statue of Dr. Sun Yat Sen.)

SUNDAYS 10:30-11:30 PM - GREENWOOD PARK (north end off Alton Ave. next to the skating arena)

SUNDAYS 12:30-1:30 PM - LESLIEVILLE FARMERS MARKET (Ashbridges Park, south off Queen Stbetween Greenwood and Coxwell Ave.)

WEDNESDAY EVENING SUNSET YOGA 7:00 - 8:00 PM - RIVERDALE PARK (same location as above)

All are welcome, no previous yoga experience is necessary. All that is required is a mat and a smile!
