Event Description
A reading group lead by Leslieville Therapist Brian Baumal for parents. This month, we're reading Alfie Kohn's "Unconditional Parenting", a book that challenges traditional ways of rewarding and disciplining children. The book is available online and at most book stores in the city. More information can be found here.
As a therapist, my goal is to give each person in attendance customized advice that they can actually use from the book. Many people read a parenting book only to never use the information in it. My goal in doing the reading group is empower parents to use the wealth of great information out there to raise their children.
