169-175 Jones Redevelopment
There is a proposed redevelopment plan for the church property and adjacent vacant plot at 169-175 Jones (about 1/2 block north of Dundas on the east side). The redevelopment calls for a new 4-storey building on the vacant plot and new residential units in the existing (but extensively modified) church. Total new residential units: 40. Total new parking spaces proposed: 36 (including 5 visitor spaces). There is a public meeting on Monday January 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Riverdale Collegiate. This is the 3rd community consultation and there are some contentious issues (parking prime among them). Please attend.
