Basement waterproofing

does anyone have and recommendations for basement waterproofing (from the outside) I've had two quotes and there was quite the variance, I think the more expensive guy was trying to rip me off...is is quite the job though ad I'm willing to pay for quality, just don't want to get fleeced.

Patty - you have to go with Mud Monkeys.  They are the top rated waterproofers on Home Stars and they are just awesome.  They are actually currently doing my house.  Let me know if you would like to meet with them at my place - happy to make an introduction for you (they are finishing up on Monday).  Honestly, their prices are actually pretty reasonable and they have been so knowledgeable and professional.  Can't say enough good things about them. http://homestars.com/companies/310347-mud-monkeys-waterproofing?ser...
