The BCYG is offering two new programs starting April 1 that are affordable and fun!  If your kids love to sing, act or explore, then these programs may be just what you're looking for.

Glee Club

Do you love to sing?  Well, here’s a place where you can sing your heart out, improve your technique and perform a some shows… while making new friends!  The BCYG’s new Glee Club happens every Friday night starting April 1.  Lead by our resident Music Instructor, Violet Chepil, the BCYG Gleeks will learn the fundamentals of singing while preparing two shows:  one at the Leslieville Tree Festival in May, and our own show on June 24!

Highlights include:

  • Learning how to improve your vocal techniques
  • Group performance at the Leslieville Tree Festival
  • Opportunities to select and arrange your own performance
  • Our very own show where Club members will prepare and perform their own pieces

Saturday Club

Interests all over the map?  Love a little bit of everything?  Then the Saturday Club is for you!  With a rotating focus on cooking, science, performing arts, visual arts and games, and a constant focus on creativity and fun.  Saturday Clubbers will develop skills you didn’t even know you had, as well as make new friends while hanging out with some familiar faces.

Highlights include:

  • Drama and dance workshops
  • Planting and growing our own garden
  • Crafts and cooking
  • An end of session camping trip!
