I have some relatives staying with me for a while who are huge soccer fans. They were asking me where the best place in Leslieville is to watch the event. Since I know absolutely nothing about sports, and since I don't drink, I couldn't suggest any bars or pubs. So, I'm asking all the insightful  folks of the Leslieviller, what do you think would be the best place to catch the games?

I would suspect that Dharam at Stratengers will be open early and he has a multitude of television sets which likely will be on with games. You may wish to check with him?

Prohibition would be a good option as well
If you're in the east end of the hood, it's not too far to Murphy's Law. Lots and lots of TV's there, I'm sure they'll be showing the games.

Ceili Cottage has one (very) large TV, they'll be showing them for sure.
Passed Joy Bistro this morning and they said they'll be open early for all the games. Also have a nice big screen on the patio for the nice sunny days.
The Curzon is open for world cup events
Thanks guys! I'll pass these suggestions along.
The Roy also has the big screen on for World cup
Stratengers was packed yesterday with English fans (ie Britain!) ... 6 screens I think in total. Lots of staff on hand to keep the beer and food flowing too! What a time!
I stay away from the Roy! I went in for the first time a while ago and got so much attitude from the owner that I would never go back for fun. Maybe punishment!
We had brunch at Prohibition this morning, and they had the game on big screens and small screens. The place was also nearly empty. So it's a good option for sure.
I noticed a sign outside of Tommaso's Trattoria on Eastern (near McGee) that they're showing the games. I think they have a bar, too.
Really? Every time I have ever been I've been treated like one of the family.

Having said that, their TV is too small to truly enjoy world cup soccer on.
