Anyone hear anything about this?

Apparently it was near Dundas and Greenwood, and they claim they've been doing it for seven years. The couple who owns the house are gay and it seems the church wants to drive them from the neighbourhood. Thankfully it looks like the neighbours are fighting back.

If there's a next time, it would be great if any street residents posted here and/or on Twitter so folks could head over and show support!

OUt of curiosity, anyone know specifically what church these people are from?
Do we know the couple? What is their response to all this?
Torontoist has a story, titled "Let us Prey"....identifies the cnurch as Highfield Road Gospel Hall.http://torontoist.com/2010/08/let_us_prey.php I'm afraid the thing to do is call the police, and wait for them to come. Hosing them down will only lead to assault charges.
maybe something under the trespass to property act might work???? Should stop them from coming onto your property????
Ooooh! I know the place! Walked by it just the other day and thought about how the phrase "Gospel Hall" sends shivers down my spine thanks to several years worth of exposure to the Deep South...where there's 2 or 3 on every country corner.
Unlawful assembly? Protesting without a permit? Hate crime? Slander? I dunno, seems like there's a lot wrong with what they are doing.

They have responded on another thread. The link is above. They have said they did not feel that the sermons were targeted at them.
Join the facebook group. There is a peaceful kiss-in being arranged for sunday. Details here:

This is the best and most balanced reporting I have read so far. Last night at CTV there was also no mention of Gay Couple. Now in a strange twist of events, the alleged "victims" are taking the side of the alleged "perpetrators". How might we bring a peaceful closure to this misunderstanding? What other lessons can we learn?
Detta. Going forward, we need to get the facts straight before we make a move. When the alleged "victims" start taking the side of the alleged "perpetrators", then it sets off for me a whole lot of alarm bells that we need to listen to. It will be a bright day for Leslieville when we can see how a video on the internet can spin out of control. If anything maybe one of the purposes of the "kiss-in" can be to share lessons learnt and work on some healing and seek forgiveness for angry words that have been less than helpful. And yes, to have fun, as somebody else suggested. Rafael
