New pub opening beside Starbucks at Gerrard and Jones

They posted a sign in the window. It's a Scotish pub called McGugans. Great news for the developing area! :) the website is http://www.McGugans.com

Hey, Lara! I passed by the location on the way to work and wanted to find out more about it, and found your post here! Small world, I suppose. And I could have sworn I saw you at the Fox and Fiddle last night, too.

There's not much info yet, but I'm always looking forward to a new pub, with a bit more than the standard Lager selections and one stout. It would be nice to see some local beers, or the very least, craft beers.

McGugans grand opening has been rescheduled and is not tomorrow. Check out their site for more info. I walked by today and looks like it may take another week or two to finish.

I passed by it today as well... a decent amount of construction still spilling out onto the road, although the quick glance that I saw (from the streetcar) had the bar pretty much finished... hope they get the rest done without too much trouble.

Stopped in last night for the soft opening, this place is going to be great. Although as a Scottish pub they really need to get some Belhaven in there.
