Saw a couple weeks ago that she was trying to sell her biz on Craig's list for $45K.

Looks like Sophie's has shut down for good.  Hope something interesting goes into that great space.

The Playpen on Gerrard is opening next week

Papers are off the windows at the Sausage Partners.....

Belmonte Raw is open.

Looks like a French bakery called Le Matin will be opening in the old Leonida's spot in December.

Pita Mio open at Queen and Broadview.  Had an awesome chicken shawarma in there today and very reasonably priced.  Definitely worth a try.

Any word on what the place on Gerrard with the little trees outside is? It's been under construction for more than a year I think. Saw a sign when I peeked in that read 'Blueberry' something hanging up.

Or what the place that was a caterers is becoming? Lots of renos going on.

the sign is up - blueberry boulevard - still no idea what it will be but my guess is a bakery

Hi All!

Anyone know what is planned to replace the old Sophie location?  Toast location?  Inspired Cook location?

There is also a place next to the Tattooist and Velvet on the North side of Queen at Logan....any idea what will be going in there?

Exciting to see new places popping up!

I was talking to one of the staff at GBK, and it sounds like "blueberry boulevard" might be an ice cream shop.

Someone's taking over the former Sophie space at Queen & Logan. http://www.thecommissary.ca/ Looks promising.

Just walked on Gerrard by GBK and McGugans and the junk store that was next door to GBK is closed and looks like someone is taking it over. Anyone know what is going in there? I love the transformation that is taking place along this strip.
