'GLAS' new restaurant on its way on Queen St at former 'Frankly Eatery' location.

Here's what's posted on its front window:

Thanks for the post.  Super exciting!  I look forward to its opening and trying Dan's cuisine.  It'll be neat to see how he uses the space too =)

Anyone know what the building under construction is going to be on the South side of Gerrard near Coxwell? It had a mural of construction workers with signs they read 'the medium is the message' for some months but now that more construction is underway there is a large picture of a red pegasus with a horn.

Any one have any reviews on the new pub in the old Toast location?

I recently checked out Hitch. It is a great spot - a very welcome addition to the 'hood!!!

I've been to McQueens 3 times so far and really like it.  It's kind of a soft opening right now so the menu will be expanding but so far I've had the chili, nachos, chicken wings and curry.  The meat in the curry was a little dry but besides that everything else was good.

I really enjoyed the place.  The TV's in the first two rooms are well placed and not intrusive if you are looking for more of a pub experience but they are big enough and in the right places if you are trying to watch a game or some highlights while you're out for a pint with a non sports fan.  As for the big TV in the back room, I haven't checked it out for a game yet.

Suffice it to say, I'll be a regular I'm sure.

Hey m b. - Equally as intrigued about the Gerrard and Coxwell 'pegasus'. Something new, can only be an improvement!
