Hey all,

This is Jonathan from your neighborhood movie theater, the Projection Booth at 1035 Gerrard St East. We're poised to open very soon, with some very exciting things happening. Leave us ideas and messages bellow until I get the website running :)

Hey Joanna,

I'll give you a shout in a bit.  The article link you sent me is dead, can you resend?  Thanks!

This is so exciting! I am a filmmaker myself and the thought of an old cinema coming back to life is very reassuring. A few years back I worked on a film called Amal http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0907674/ and I would love to show it again in my neighbourhood. I'll be heading off to India again this october to shoot another film, so look out for it next year!

I know Amal! Lets do it! I know some of the guys at A71. We are looking at doing industry nights every wednesday and showing films of our friends in the biz.

What are you shooting in the fall?

Jonathan

Small world. I know Chad at A71 very well. I'm off to India with Ritchie Mehta once again to shoot another feature. A gritty and little darker story than Amal but will definitely strike an emotional cord as Amal did.

Hi Jonathan!

I live in the neighborhood and run a music blog, www.letthemreadvinyl.com

I was just thinking how cool it would be to see some of the old concert films/movie documentaries on the big screen - The Song Remains the Same, Rattle & Hum, Help...to name but a few. Also new music docs that come out -- there have been some good ones lately (Lemmy, Foo Fighters, etc). There are so many. If you'd be interested in hosting a "Music Movie Night" from time to time I would love to get involved & help out!

You can contact me at letthemreadvinyl@gmail.com

Looking forward to visiting the theatre!
