Replacing Windows - thoughts?
We are looking into replacing the windows in our home. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Marvin Windows was excellent - we get complements on our new window all the time. They were professional and fast and quite competitive. I would highly recommend them!

Matti replaced all of my windows last year. He is a one man show and we loved his work. He does a lot of work in this area but lives in North York I believe.

Tammy , I have used Consumer Choice for window replacement. Very reasonable prices, consistent service and good quality windows. I had them all replaced over a two year period (total of 10 windows and one front door) each time they were here when they were supposed to be and very tidy. i live at 91 coady avenue in case you want to come by and see them.

Tammy, what did you wind up doing? We are looking into replacing windows in our home this summer and are beginning our search for both a good manufacturer and installer. We started at Home Depot, looking at Jeld-wen and Farley windows (the only 2 brands they seem to stock), and have someone coming in for a consultation. Any advice is welcome.

We just had most of our windows redone by Muhammed Celik. He does excellent work at a great price. We had very old windows with some frame issues, and he took care of it all.

We used Pella windows they have several style options and (if you can wait until the fall) great late season sales. They do an in home consult and their crews are fast and clean.

Hey Tammy,
I've used Peters Aluminum on Queen east of Leslie. They are GREAT!!! All windows are custom and installed. They have been in Leslieville for years and they manufacture the windows on site here in Leslieville. I would highly suggest giving them a call for a quote, you will be pleasantly surprised at how little replacing windows cost. And the do a great job!!

We used Peters as well, on our front window right after moving in and have every intention of using them again as they did a great job for a reasonable price, and are conveniently located.
I note that Tammy has disappeared from the discussion after that initial post!
