There is nothing worth hitting a child with a car to save 1-2 minutes of your commute! Drivers please be patient

My daughters’ bus picks them up on Logan between Dundas & Queen.
Day after day I notice how impatient drivers are about having to wait behind the bus, while the kids get on and off.
I have witnessed cars pass the bus multiple times.
This morning as my 5 year was running as the bus waited for her. An impatient woman in an SUV was attempting to pass the bus before & after my daughter crossed the street.
I took the opportunity to knock on her window, she looked shocked and wouldn’t lower the window. I reminder her that there is a reason why the bus has a STOP sigh.
On my way to work I kept thinking what was so important to her that she couldn’t wait a few minutes? Why are people willing to risk someone’s safety to save themselves time?
Please take time to reflect and I wish more patience for everyone in 2018.
