What's happening with the Shoppers at Queen and Carlaw?    I just drove by and they seem to be in full-on demo (as opposed to reno) mode.

The neighbourhood eyesore is getting an extensive facelift (finally - YAY!). Complete reno and apparently, a second floor added for medical professional offices as per this application

lets hope medical offices bring great new doctors - maybe a pediatrician, a naturopath...that would be great!!

Apparently standing outside of that Shoppers is The Spot for homeless people to panhandle...according to what one homeless guy told me anyway. They even fight over it!!

I've noticed the homeless guys taking shifts for panhandling there. Let's hope with the new reno it gets rid of the panhandlers!
