Project Description:
Snow Days is an elaborative arts-based research project and multimedia exhibition exploring the human experience through the universal theme of weather. How does weather affect our moods, our every-day patterns of behaviour, our creative process?

Each day in February we'll feature one collaborator (28 in all) as they commit themselves to a 24-hour process of self-awareness, discovery and creative elaboration.

The project will exist in two stages: a real-time, web-based calendar documenting each day as it unfolds throughout the month, and finally a multimedia exhibition in mid-March showcasing the work of all 28 collaborators.


Project Background:
Snow Days is produced and curated by Labspace Studio, an experiential art house and creative agency based in Toronto, Canada. Known for their inclusive and large-scale art and curatorial projects, Labspace aims to create thought-provoking, relevant and collaborative work through experiential and research-based approaches to brainstorming and art-making.


Call for Collaborators:
Labspace Studio seeks 28 collaborators for this project. If you feel inspired, intrigued or interested in this project we welcome you to apply. Selected collaborators will be based on the quality of their applications and how well their individual practice fits within the larger group of selected participants.
