Anyone have the scoop on The Arvo? They have a liquor license up in the old Bergstrom Originals spot.

Avro. She's on The Leslieviller.
Hi Jennifer, I'm opening The Avro. It will be a cheap and cheerful little bar. Hopefully we'll be open by September!
Yay!
fingers crossed that we'll be open next weekend!!!
Looking forward to stopping in!
Word on Twitter Street is that you're open now?
Yup, they were open Saturday night at least. Cute little spot, very cozy. Looks like primarily drinks, not a lot in the way of nibbles but perhaps that will change..

Nice! I'm sure Rachel will give us the low-down when she has time to come up for air. :)

Hi Guys!
Thanks to everyone who has stopped in so far and shown their support. Your kind words are encouraging and appreciated.
The Avro is a tiny (30 person capacity) 'cheap and cheerful' bar. We're open 7 days a week from 7pm to 2am. Our goal is to never close before 2am. We do a variety of 'special' nights. Sundays you can bring your own vinyl records for us to play. Tuesdays we feature live musicians and bands (good old Canadian rock and roll). To hear the bands, or check out our community involvement check out http://TheAvro.com
Regarding the menu, we're flirting with the idea of creating some more substantial dishes. But due to our small size and lack of a kitchen our menu will always be small. In the meantime stop by for some slices of birthday cake!

Thanks again everyone, see you soon!
Rachel. Good to see you open. Nice friendly little place. You were right...5 people and the place seems busy. Cosy destination.

I'd like to add that Prohibition has beefed up its game recently. I've grown to like the place. Their food is impressive, and they have a better than normal beer selection as well.

Having the address on the web site might be a good idea.
