Vandalism on Queen St East, keep an eye out for the perpetrator

Someone is going around Queen East & smashing store windows/glass paned doors at
sometime in the wee hours. They seem to be using bricks or parts of blocks
wrapped in cloth & targeting front areas.

Timeless Nails got hit sometime this past Thurs evening or early Fri am & it
appears nothing was stolen. They have no insurance so this will be a big expense
to fix. The police discovered it at 3 am. Apparently another glass door was
broken further along Queen East according to the reporting officer & this is
happening more often than we know.

The apartment building at Queen & Berkshire had a front window smashed on a
staff room before this.

If anyone notices someone behaving suspiciously, either before or after the act
of vandalism, please call the police. We need to stop this person or persons
from destroying our neighbourhood.

I also saw that Studio We! had a smashed window too, noticed yesterday morning.

Did not appear to be broken all the way through and it could have been that way for a while, but yesterday was the first that I saw it.

It seems there's a group of small 20'ish brats dressed in black running around at night.  I've had personal interactions with them, and has someone else who was assaulted outside Curzon.  This group seems to have fun with all kinds of stuff in the neighbourhood between 11pm and 3 am.

If you are out late, a camera is a great tool.  Practice taking shots with and without the flash.  Plenty of time to discuss things later.

I would encourage anyone seeing any type of criminal activity occuring to call 911 as they see it as ithis is a crime in progress, as for taking pictures or any other actions I would not want to see anyone get hurt so please be careful and know your own personal limits.
