I hope not. I like his little shop, and the fact he makes everything himself. He took a load of lathe that I had removed from my house that he uses to make picture frames, and made me a frame out of my own lathe as payment! Wattle & Daub exemplifies what I love about this neighbourhood.
Yes, Lee closed in April. He is moving out west to work, concentrating on the wholesale part that always was his main source fhis or earning through Wattle & Daub and living closer to his aging parents. He just doesn't need the retail storefront any longer. He can be reached at the number on his sign, if there's anything spied in the store, since that will be the last to be packed.

Upper Crust will be expanding into that spot, and expanding their service and possibly applying for a liquor license.
