Where to take a 2.5 year old for 3 days?

We would like to take our grand-daughter to either a cottage (but you usually can't rent them for less than a week but maybe you can and that's what I need to know), a B and B or even a hotel/motel from Wed.July 12 to Friday July 14 (2 nights, three days).The criteria are close proximity to a nice, sandy beach for swimming and cleanliness in the cottage/room.

I know it's late in the game for this and that's why I thought I'd put it out to Leslieville for suggestions. You never know who knows about what or whom and perhaps this can actually work!

It would be great to get replies as soon as possible so we could book quickly. Time is a-fleeting!!!!

There's a resort on Lake Simcoe called Lagoon City that has amazing beaches; they're really shallow and sandy bottom so it's great for little kids. It's in Brechin, which is 1.5 hours from here, on the east side of the lake. Check out their website lagooncityrentals.com. If you don't need a beach, there's always Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls...

Actually we take her to Great Wolf Lodge for her birthday each year (twice so far) so ya, a beach is what we want.
