We're having a big sale!

The 2011 Leslieville Stomp is now in the works, and will be taking place May 28 and 29!

This is the nerve centre for all things organizational, so if you have great ideas to share, and if you want to get involved, this is the place.

Comment by Anna MacKay on May 18, 2011 at 1:58pm: Sorry to say we just could not get the STOMP off the ground this year. We had a few responses from business but only a few. Without enough people to go door knocking and get people on board we just ran out of time to get it organized.

Thank you very much April for doing your best to get people involved and Kelly trying at the end to get people from Winter Wanderlust to get involved.

I am hoping some of you will be proactive for next year and try to get this off the ground in a bigger way next year. Last year we had a few dedicated people that made it happen - really without help from the local business' and 2 who paid for the advertising and posters. This year we did not have anyone with deep enough pockets for that and not enough time to go door to door and collect money to cover the costs from the local stores.

I spoke with Anna MacKay, one of last year's amazing volunteers, and she's sending out an email this weekend to round up the group for a planning meeting. Looks like there's about 10 people interested. So, stay tuned... we'll post info about the meeting here too. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again!
