Hello everyone I am looking for a cat lover to foster my senior cat for a few months. I have recently gone through a bad break up and had to move back home with my parents and my grandmother (who is really scared of cats). I am currently trying to get back on my feet and have to stay here in the mean time. I really need someone to look after my cat during this time. I'm all he's ever known and it is breaking my heart the idea of having to give him away. I don't think I can. If anyone has any information regarding fostering or someone they think might be a good fit please let me know.

Just got this great news!

As a follow up to responsible pet ownership week, we are happy to announce that the Toronto Humane Society will be offering a microchip clinic to members of the public.

Sunday June 10th, from 9am -5pm, the THS will implant and register a microchip for every owned companion animal (dog or and cat) that is brought to the shelter. Members of the public will be required to complete a registration form and sign that they are the owner of the pet. At the time of implant, we will also register the chip with the microchip carrier. The cost is 20$. First come first served, no appointment required, to be held at the intake desk.

Does anyone have tips on where to get nemotodes that kill fleas?  Leslieville has a huge flea problem.

Dont know of a kennel but I have a great cat sitter. She's looked after our cats for years --- like 12-15 years.    She comes 2X a day and spends time in the house with the kitties, playing with them and brushing them and hanging out. hi there! does anyone have a good recommendation for kennels? my husband and i are going away over the holidays and my cats would be first time boarders. they've never been to a kennel. would love to hear if anyone has a good experience/or good reco? thanks!
