Hello everyone,

After many years of heavy layering, trying in vain to stay warm walking the dog through the winter, I decided to take the plunge and buy a good winter parka.  I wanted to buy something made in Canada and found a store called Wotever near Dundas and Carlaw that sells the two brands I'm wavering between:  Canada Goose and Nobis.

Has anyone else test driven either of these brands through the winter?  Did you stay warm?  Any recommendations?  My two main objectives are to buy from a store in Leslieville and to buy a Canadian made parka.  Well, that and to stay warm.

Any reviews much appreciated!

Just bought a Nobis coat from Wotever for dog walking and I love it...worth every penny.
I'm leaning towards the Nobis for looks but I was a little hesitant because it's a bit more than the Canada Goose.

The one I was looking at was knee length and looks like a warm coat but I'm glad to hear it performs. Thanks!
