Hi Everyone,

It’s been a while since this group had any activity, so I’m coming out of hibernation (despite the snow).  I’d love to arrange our first ‘meet up’, so we can get to know each other a little better.  Some of us met at last year’s STOMP festival, but I’d love to expand that circle.  I’m just connecting with this year’s Stomp volunteers, so I should have more info to give you in person and we can talk about who might want to participate in a day of free kids activities at the end of May.

Please let me know if you are interested.  I’ll throw out Saturday March 5th or Sunday March 6th (any time after 12:30) as possible times - but I’m happy to do a weekday evening if that’s better for people’s schedules.  All kids program providers are welcome!

Hope to hear from you!  You can email me directly at annmarie@movementlab.ca
Cheers! Ann-Marie

ps. I've also sent this to your leslieviller inboxes.

Let's do it! Let me know what time works best for everyone else, and if I can't make it I will get in touch with you afterward, A-M? I've met a couple of other violin and cello teachers in the area, so we could have an awesome dance and music cohort! xo
Wonderful!  We're such an arty neighbourhood I think we should gather together and convince Artscape to convert one of the old industrial buildings into a much needed to arts space for Leslieville!  Oh, am I getting a little carried away...?

Hi guys!

This is exciting! Thank you Anne-Marie for spearheading this initiative. Unfortunately, we cannot make it on weekends, since we are busy working with students one-on-one, however, we would love to meet everyone.

Can weekdays work for anyone? Maybe a post-lunch coffee, before the kids get out of school and activities begin?

Thoughts?

Hi Elissa and Johanna,

So glad to hear from you!  Yes, I was worried weekends would be busy.  I'm happy to meet in the afternoon before school is out.  Let's see who else replies in the next little while, and then I'll try and coordinate a time based on everyone's availability.  How about we aim for an afternoon during the week of March 7th?

Looking forward to meeting you! Your programs sound really great.
