Hello again Leslieville Moms, Dads and Caregivers!

Last week we let you know about a new program coming to Leslieville in April. It’s called MOVE AND LEARN and is intended to get your kids off the couch, away from the computer and moving their bodies while teaching them, from an early age, that physical and mental exercise do not have to be mutually exclusive!

MOVE AND LEARN combines physical fitness with the learning of early reading skills. Through the use of songs, games and fitness activities, children aged 2-5 will have fun while they acquire many of the building blocks for reading.

MOVE AND LEARN was designed and is taught by a certified elementary school teacher who has decades of experience in the fields of education and recreation.

The first session of MOVE AND LEARN will run from Thursday, April 8 to Thursday, May 27 in Leslieville.

NEW INFORMATION

Move and Learn’s first session is scheduled to run on Thursday mornings. However, we want to let Leslieville parents know that we’re taking your schedules into consideration. If you are interested in our program but can’t attend with your child (or can’t send your child on his/her own) on Thursday mornings, please contact us and let us know what dates/times would work for YOU! If we have enough interest in a particular date and time we will add a class.
