Can anyone give recommendations for a t-ball league in the east end?  We've done t-ball through the city programs but am looking for something more substantial this year for my 5 and 7 year olds.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be helpful.

Cheers,

Gwen

Hello Leslieville Moms and dads!

I'm Janice and I run Growing Baby Pre/postnatal. Just wanted to introduce myself and also pass along the info about my upcoming baby massage class. I run my classes out of the Queen Street East Presbyterian Church @ Queen and Carlaw. I'm also a new mum myself to a beautiful 10 month old girl named Aili( pronounced eyelee ). My massage class is coming up this Monday, January 23rd from 12:15-1:15pm and is $ 20. I'll be going over strokes for gas, constipation, muscle tone, circulation, teething, relaxation and sleep. If this is something that interests you I can be reached @ growingbaby2@yahoo.ca www.growingbaby.net. I also hang out at Lil' Bean' N Green on occassion with some friends and their babies if any other new mama's are lookin' to get out and grab a coffee/tea! :)

RIVERDALE YOGA BABIES - NEW SESSIONS starting Jan 19 and Jan 23

What women have said about the group:

"What I am realizing now, years after the class that three of my closest friends came from your class!" ~Lynn

"I had a great time! I wish I brought my first but I was so self concious about his crying...now that I am in the class I love the tolerant attitude toward potential chaos! Bring it on!" ~Charlene

Riverdale Yoga Babies is a lively group that has been running consecutively since 2006.

We have had babies as early as 2 weeks up to walking. The class runs in 6 week sessions with drop ins available. No prior experience of yoga is necessary; the intent is to reconnect to your body, teach your baby yoga early :) as well as connect to our fabulous group of new parents.

The class is taught by Adrienne McRuvie, yoga teacher, family chiropractor and doula.

When: Thursday Jan 19-Feb 23 and Monday Jan 23-Mar 5 from 1:00-2:15

Where: OMA Chiropractic (1 Munro St, Queen just west of Broadview).

Cost: 6 week session is $80 ($16 for drop in).

Call or email to reserve a space.

Can't wait to meet you!

I agree with Stacey, the post classes were great. I took this one http://www.toronto.ca/health/parenting/living_learning.htm  and the ladies I met have been amazing!!!

Hi Jennifer S.  I'd definitely recommend pre-natal classes at Toronto East General Hospital.  Very helpful.  Mostly though, it was the POST natal classes that got me through the difficult first 2 months of having a new born.  I ended up meeting the greatest women and still connect with them regularly (and our kids are 1 now!).  Sanity save I called it.  Good luck.
