Holiday Nanny Required!

Our beloved nanny will be on vacation from Dec 17-Jan 3. We are looking to cover some of these dates with a highly recommended temporary nanny. If anyone knows of a seasonal nanny looking for extra work please let me know!

Looking for a full time live in or out nanny to start at the end of March. Not interested in sponsoring. To take care of our then 6 month old, light house keeping, and cooking. Possibly care for another child through a nanny share. Come September she will also pick up my older son from school (and no longer doing the nanny share). Looking for someone AMAZING and highly recommended by an employer. Not looking for referrals from other nannies. We live at Broadview and Queen.

Essentrics in Leslieville: Tuesday nights, 7:30pm at Chi Junky on 70 McGee street.
A friend of mine is an Essentrics instructor who has just moved to Toronto from Montreal -- Lauren Finkelstein. I tried her class and it's a great workout  ("Essentrics is based on eccentric strengthening which stretches the muscles then strengthens them in the elongated position creating a lean toned body.")
Her class will be on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm, at Chi Junky on 70 McGee street. The cost is $30 for a drop in (t$25 a class for a package) and its maximum 6 people so you can get the experience of a private class with extra attention.
To sign up, people need to email getaddicted (at)
Or contact her personally at laurenfinkelstein89 (at)
Thought I'd spread the word.

Organic bassinet mattress and booster seat for sale

Hey mamas and papas,

I have an opened (but unused) Naturepedic Organic Cotton Oval Bassinet Mattress for sale for $50. It didn't fit in our little guy's bassinet properly so we never used it.

Also have an unopened Fisher Price healthy care Booster seat for $20.

Message me if interested.

We have a temporary shared daycare spot available.

Our daughter (10 months old) attends All About Kids at Gerrard & Jones. We have been very happy with the care there. However, we only need 3 days of childcare until January 2015. As a result, there is a spot for an infant 2 days/week up until December 31st 2014.

Monday & Wednesday are available, however we are somewhat flexible if an alternative day is needed.

Please message me for more info or email

* if you are not in need of childcare yourself, please pass this on to other moms you know*

thank you!
