Comment by Catherine Moran on May 14, 2013 at 10:57am Has anyone found a baby monitor that doesn't break? We're hunting around for a pre-loved, robust type for a small house. Coincidently, also needed are the raincover and sunshade for bugaboo cameleon. pls email yulia.reuter@gmail.com, many thanks.
Comment by Roberta Jeffery on May 12, 2013 at 10:16pm Looking for a Nanny-Share in September? We have a lovely nanny and a large home perfect for sharing. We have two boys ages 4 and 2. Our eldest will be in SK at Duke of Connaught PS in the afternoon so there will be ample attention paid to your child. Our hours are 7:30-5:00pm. Ideally we're looking for a child that's at least 2 years old. Other moms in the neighbourhood often stop me to compliment our nanny. She's everything you hope to have in a childcare worker. Please reply if you think this might be a good fit for your family.
Cheers

Comment by Lisa Lebeer on May 2, 2013 at 6:36pm re: La Mosaique
Andrea - are you (or your partner) French speaking and/or do you speak French at home? My understanding is that La Mosaique is for French families in the city and that your child should already know how to speak French before attending. The school is not there to teach your child French, it's to support those who already are French speaking. If your child doesn't not already speak French, then an Immersion program is recommended. A friend of mine sends her daughter there and loves it (small classes) but she first attended La Petit Chaperon Rouge to learn how to speak French in a daycare setting. Hope that helps.
