Has anyone found a baby monitor that doesn't break? We're hunting around for a pre-loved, robust type for a small house. Coincidently, also needed are the raincover and sunshade for bugaboo cameleon. pls email yulia.reuter@gmail.com, many thanks.

Looking for a Nanny-Share in September? We have a lovely nanny and a large home perfect for sharing. We have two boys ages 4 and 2. Our eldest will be in SK at Duke of Connaught PS in the afternoon so there will be ample attention paid to your child. Our hours are 7:30-5:00pm. Ideally we're looking for a child that's at least 2 years old. Other moms in the neighbourhood often stop me to compliment our nanny. She's everything you hope to have in a childcare worker. Please reply if you think this might be a good fit for your family.

Hello Ladies :))

Just wanted to remind everyone that Mommy & Baby Stroller Fitness starts this week!  I still have a few spots left in the 8 week session at Withrow park...here are the details!!

Stroller Fitness (6 wks-18 months)* 

Get ready to stroll your way back into shape! This class utilizes strollers, resistance bands, your own body and other fun outdoor props to give you a full body workout! Being outdoors allows you to get some of that much needed energy back! Each class concludes with our huge repertoire of songs, rhymes, parachute games and more, under a shady tree!

 

Withrow Park (we will meet just south of Danforth off Logan right by the tennis courts!)

May 7-June 25 from 10:30 am-11:45

8 Weeks $159 (returning mommies take $10 off!)

Also have a West end session starting up in a few weeks with the following details!

re: La Mosaique

Andrea - are you (or your partner) French speaking and/or do you speak French at home? My understanding is that La Mosaique is for French families in the city and that your child should already know how to speak French before attending. The school is not there to teach your child French, it's to support those who already are French speaking. If your child doesn't not already speak French, then an Immersion program is recommended. A friend of mine sends her daughter there and loves it (small classes) but she first attended La Petit Chaperon Rouge to learn how to speak French in a daycare setting. Hope that helps.

La Mosaïque on Queensdale@ Coxwell?

We are thinking about sending our daughter there  but want to be sure we are making the right decision before moving her from her current daycare- where she is very happy.

Any information would be very helpful.
