Hi Everyone,

We hope you are enjoying your summer so far. The Riverdale Dance Centre offers a variety of dance classes for all ages from 18mths to adult. We are now registering for our September classes and you can find our schedule online at www.riverdaledancecentre.com. Our registration dates are: Saturday, August 28 from 9:00-11:00am and Tuesday August 31st from 5:00-7:00pm. Of course, we also do registration by mail as well. Please contact us at 416-465-5200 or riverdaledancecentre@hotmail.com for further information.

I would like to welcome back our Hip Hop Instructor, Jayr. He brings a great energy and cool moves to each class. This year he will be teaching hip hop on Saturdays and Tuesdays. We also use the Royal Academy of Dance methodology for ballet classes.

We’re looking forward to seeing old faces and meeting new ones. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

See you in September,

Samantha,
Riverdale Dance Centre

Hi there! I am currently looking for part-time daycare for my 19 month old daughter and now realize how impossible this may be for September! Is there anyone that currently has a daycare spot that does not want it full-time? I would love to share it...2 days would be perfect. Any other ideas...love to hear them!

Hello all,
I live in the Beach and have a five month old. As we have no family here in Toronto I am looking to find a babysitter for the odd evening out - can anyone recommend one? Thank you so much!

August is right around the corner and My Favourite Bootcamp at Jimmie Simpson Park is going strong. Our recruits are losing as much as 20 pounds a month and are loving it!

What makes us different from other camps? We offer small groups so every single person gets the attention they deserve and NEED to reach their goals.

All this for less than the cost of similar camps.

Why pay more for less?

(Group discounts also available)

Can't commit to a whole month? Unlike other camps, we offer single session sign ups so you can come whenever you're free.

Looking for a great workout that will challenge you, no matter what your fitness level?

Then check out MyFavouriteTrainer.com!

You'll get a great workout, nutritional advice and the motivation you'll need to succeed!

Check out myfavouritebootcamp.com or email info@myfavouritetrainer.com for more info.

Yes, we're delivering at TEGH. St. Mikes was our first choice, but then I received a referall from a friend regarding her OB (who is fantastic), but has priviliges at TEGH. We're actually quite impressed with the Birthing Centre there and it's so far turned out to be a good choice for us.

Any time in August for the most part would be good to meet up. Still working full time during the day (until beginning of Sept.), so any time after 6 or during the day on week-ends works best for me. :)

Hi Jo, I sent you an email - due Aug 31 and would love to join in afterwards and meet new moms...keep me posted. Anyone delivering at Mount Sinai?

Mom & Baby Group lead by Public Health > as a follow up to the discussion we had a few weeks back at the Lattes & Strollers gathering AND to any other mom of a baby who is about 3-4 months old...

I received a call from Public Health. They are starting up a Mom & Baby group here in Leslieville at the Ralph Thorton Centre. This first group will meet on Mondays (starting Aug 9) from 1:30 - 3:30 for 5 weeks.

If you have not yet received a call, but want to be part of this (or a future) group, CALL THEM at 416-397-4762. I believe I spoke with Connie.

I may not join this particular summer group as Mondays don't work well for me in the summers...but she told me that if enough mothers want to wait until September (and their babies will be about 6 months old or so), then they may start another group then for slightly older baby issues. We'll see.

Thanks
Janet (& Emma)

@Shari

No, I am going to be delivering at St. Mikes. I am guessing you are going to be at TEGH?

It would be great to get together sometime this summer and chat.

How is your August looking?

@Chelsey

Just wondering if you're planning on delivering at TEGH?
