Hello everyone,
So I am going to be doing a longer 10k sunday run and growing that number 2 k per week starting this sunday 3pm. So anyone training for an early spring or late winter half marathon or marathon might enjoy this slow but steady increase (nice and easy distance not speed being the goal) Come one come all while the weather is lovely! also as i said earlier tuesday evening 6:30 a 5 or 6k and we will meet outside starbucks! I have great routes picked out for both but suggestions are always welcome!
Thanks Rhonda,

sounds like a good idea...I have been running on my own...slowing down quite a bit (especially lately)...I am available evenings (6ish ) and weekend afternoons (or sunday mornings...

There are a few of us perhaps willing to brave the cold...
So, I am not a fast runner by any stretch but would love to work on that as well as distance...
So I am thinking Sundays around 1pm(again time is flexible) to start us off?
We can do an nice easy 5 or 6k and see where we go from there?

Well that's great Deanna!
I am trying to keep motivated myself right now and the couch and hot chocolate often wins! So I am headed out for an afternoon run on Thursday at 12:30 during the day when I drop my daughter off for school. Also a friday night run i was thinking around 6pm (I know woohoo crazy friday fun) You are welcome to join me of course but if thats all a bit to soon ie digging the runners and gear out might take the weekend:)
I am super bendy but a regular sunday afternoon and wednesday night or shiver early morning run would be fab! you can join me for one or both!
Hope you have a great night I am off to sleep!
Hope to see you soon.

I'd love to get into running (haven't since I was in univerity) - but I defintiely need a kick in the butt to get moving when I'd rather be hibernating!!

When I launched this site in early 2009, one of the compelling reasons for doing so was that I was struck by how many of the businesses in Leslieville are locally owned and operated.  Another big observation was (and still is) how proud most…
