I'm starting to wonder whether i should replace my partial knob and tube wiring (I'd like to switch home insurers for a lower rate, but many won't take me; I expect replacing it would help resale). Just wanted to warn you to lock your windows while you're out - there has been a rash of break-ins in the neighbourhood recently (including my house) - the thief likes to cut open the screen on an open window and take things that would fit in a backpack, e.g. laptops, cameras, mp3 players, jewelry boxes, change from change jars...
