HI Caron,

It's GREAT to hear from you. We too are quite concerned about the route. We have been in contact with the TTC and have been advised that they have chosen Leslie Street as it is the shortest route and for "non revenue track" they always want the shortest route. There are over 100 home owners who will be directly affected by this decision and we are trying to rally community support at Thursday's meeting.

The first thing to do is to e-mail lito.romano@ttc.ca and get yourself added as a stakeholder in this project and encourage your neighbours to as well.

The good news is that the project is still in very early stages and they have yet to do the necessary impact studies so we have a real chance at encouraging an alternate route.

I'd be happy to meet for coffee to talk strategies.
