Leslievillers - there's another new kid in town!While out tooling around on my bike today, I spotted, "LakeShore Links Indoor Golf & Lounge" at the corner of Lakeshore and Morse - north side.Open about a week now, the large (8,000 square feet!) and very bright facility includes 9 simulator galleries - multiple seating - plus a lounge (liquor license pending - Apr. 2 if all goes well). Sophie a Delightful Surprise

Well, it's Day 5 of my Staycation-in-Leslieville, and today I decided to do take-out lunch from Sophie. This is a new-ish little cafe/bistro at the corner of Logan and Queen. My great fortune was to have chosen one of the specialty quiches - roasted red pepper with goat cheese - with an accompanying salad. Must say, the quiche was delicious and fresh - rich (but light at the same time - how can that be??) a piquant blend of sweet and savory on a superb crust - flaky, and not salty. Side salad…See More
