HELP! Kids birthday party venue!

Our guest list has now out grown our house. Looking for a local place that hosts b-day parties. I don't need any theme or anything (although very open to that), just need a space. An indoor play ground or a day care room, some place that I could decorate myself if need be. Anyone have any good ideas! The birthday is at the end of the month for a 3 yrs old girl.See More

BEACH bumper stickers

Has anyone every thought or looked into making a Leslieville version? I think many of us have seen the bootcamp-eque BEACH ones around town. We should have our own! Maybe just an "L", maybe like the Laverne and Shirly "L". Easy, inconspicuous, but a symbol for the Leslieviller to call thier own. Receive the "nod" from another "L" on the DVP. I'd buy one! Wanda: The Logan Avenue Grandma

I wanted to share some memories and stories about a great lady who lived on our street. Her name was Wanda and she lived on Logan Ave. just south of Eastern Ave. for over 50 years. She has been a Leslieviller for longer that there has been a Leslieville.

Everybody on the street loved Wanda. She was always out chatting with us all, helping out her friends, visiting the local stores on her bicycle and keeping the street neat and tidy.

i'm in the same boat. my daughter is 15 months old, and i've decided to stay at home with her instead of returning to work.
to keep us busy, we take baby and me fitness in the beaches, and parent and toddler yoga at matty eckler. there are also the drop in centers in the neighbourhood. we have a playgroup that meets on weds but it's dropped in size considerably since moms have been returning to work in the past few months.
