Where to take a 2.5 year old for 3 days?

We would like to take our grand-daughter to either a cottage (but you usually can't rent them for less than a week but maybe you can and that's what I need to know), a B and B or even a hotel/motel from Wed.July 12 to Friday July 14 (2 nights, three days). The criteria are close proximity to a nice, sandy beach for swimming and cleanliness in the cottage/room.I know it's late in the game for this and that's why I thought I'd put it out to Leslieville for suggestions.  You never know who knows…See More

HELP........... AND BE A PART OF THE BEST EVENT EVER!

Posted on May 27, 2010 at 7:11am 0 Comments

The Leslieville STOMP is this weekend, Friday May 28 and Saturday May 29. Yard sales galore, Pub and Grub Crawl, wonderful activities for the kids and the dogs, strolling musicians and on and on.

But we need some HELP. We need volunteers to help out on Saturday afternoon. It would only require a 2 hour time slot (1 hour if we get enough people) and then you can go back to enjoying all that the STOMP has to offer.

PLEASE...if you or someone you know, can help us…

Crib Needed....ASAP!

Posted on June 14, 2009 at 12:00pm 2 Comments

Hi.

I am looking for an 'up to today's standards' crib for my grand-daughter to use at my house. I need it ASAP (like maybe even today, if posssible)because the cradle that she is now using is no longer suitable for her. She is 6 months old and has just started to stand up in it...today... and it is now dangerous.

She and her mum and dad are living with us until they move into their own new house in July where she will have her very own, nice new crib-cum-toddler bed… Continue

Tell me about it, I am still learning the last while. Just on Facebook for a month or so now and still fumbling my way!

Glad you like the pictures, I have more to put up. The carnivale was in Quito, lots of fun!

We are friends now! Have a great weekend and see you on Tuesday.

Hi Karyn,
I noticed you are surveying the neighbourhood about childrens' programming and wanted to let you know that I've just launched the Movement Lab, which offers dance classes (kids and adults), and a free learning-through-movement program for public schools. I really want to connect with other businesses in the community, so don't hesitate to get in touch! I'd love to run some parent-tot programs around the neighbourhood. Cheers!
