You're right, Nolin: there isn't a BIA at present. When I was going around to the various businesses to get them involved in Leslieville Stomp, quite a few of them expressed interest in forming a BIA, and others were reticent to pay the…
Hi Maia,
I still have the two sandwich boards - do you want Randy to drop them off at your place or he could drop them off at Boston Paul's - I don't have his address but you can leave it for me in direct mail....
Hi Boston Paul & Jen!
Thanks so much for the loan of those 20 sandwich boards. I've got them all in the back of my SUV right now. Let me know when and where on Boston I can drop them off! Maia 416-461-8773
I have 18 signs here, so must have picked up yours, Rachel. Darlene, I'll call you and come get your signs today. Thanks to Boston Paul for donating 20 sandwich boards to make our signs look official!
The Leslieville Stomp was a success judging by the amount of strollers, babies, dogs, people wearing porkpie hats on the sidewalks :]
Darlene and Rachel: could I come by today and pick up the LS signs you have? Thanks!
I don't think they've closed for good. I saw a sign on a store front the other day announcing the opening of a new Pulp Kitchen somewhere along Queen between Jones and Leslie (I think). Good to know as I was missing the food. Yes, servers…
Hi Maia
So sorry, I didn't know about this part of the site :) absolutely I will put boards up and there were about 10-15 houses that didn't get flyers as we ran out so if you could bring a few tonight, that would be great and I will…
Hi Rachel: Thanks for distributing flyers to Caroline/Winnifred. I was wondering if you could do me a favor and put out four sandwich boards tomorrow morning before 9:00 AM at the end of your street, Brooklyn, Coady and Berkshire (all on Queen). It…
The weather network says Saturday will be sunny, 20 degrees with some cloudiness later in the day, but everyone will be at their own street party or bar hopping by then!
Hi James: Thanks for volunteering to flyer Logan. Didn't get anyone to do that street yet, so I appreciate the offer. Call me 416-402-8206 and I'll run over with some flyers. Thanks again!
Hi Jen: Thanks for acting as intermediary. I appreciate you and Boston Paul's generous offer to loan us the sandwich boards. Talk to you. My mobile 416-402-8206
Hi Maia,
Boston Paul's GF here...sorry, he completely forgot to give you a call about the sandwich boards! I'll give you a ring to act as the intermediary : )
Glad you did - I got home and worried that someone else took them!!
BTW - I've had really great feed back from a couple of the merchants - they are really excited about next year. I mentioned that they probably could expect the contribute a little cash up front to cover the costs for advertising etc...- they thought it was a fair request.

Hi Maia,
Glad they were of use, saw them all over the 'hood yesterday : )
We're at 45 and home for the rest of the evening if you'd like to drop them off. Otherwise Paul can swing by and get them...
So sorry, I didn't know about this part of the site :) absolutely I will put boards up and there were about 10-15 houses that didn't get flyers as we ran out so if you could bring a few tonight, that would be great and I will finish off :)
Nolin asked me to get in touch with you, as he is soon to be preoccupied with other things!
I own an equipment rental business (we mostly work with film and television productions) and I've got sandwich boards, tables and chairs etc that I'd be happy to donate to the Stomp. I live on Boston Ave. so I could bring them home work on the Friday. You could use the sandwich boards to put your "Stomp This Way" signs on to bring people from Queen onto the side streets that are participating in the yards sales. They are 24" wide and 30" tall with room on both sides to tape or staple things.
Maia - Okay - why don't you drop off some flyers to my house, and I will make sure that myself and a couple of other neighbors can deliver them. I will do Booth Ave north and south, and will also do Empire & McGee.
Is it possible to just speak to you on the phone?? (better for me, as I am a mom and don't do email often)
I am at 416-466-5194 or cell 416-543-5753
Thanks! Mason
I ran out of flyers but I did make it to everyone up to Alton - nothing beyond that. I also made it to Edward Levesque Kitchen today...
The merchants said they would add balloons to their store front to "fest - up" their area and were told to sign up on the stomp area of the Leslieviller.com site as a participant.
