"Here's a tip when looking for Indian... if you walk in and notice that there are no indian people eating there, chances are, it's not very good or over priced. I'm primarily talking about little india area."

"Didn't like LaHore at all and Amaya was just ok.  New Haandi is quite good.  It isn't local but once and a while I like to go to The Host in Yorkville.  Now that is GREAT Indian food for no more than Amaya charges."

"its easy to bash Starbucks, but in some way they have paved the way for the independent shops. Starbucks has made it "normal" to pay $4-5 for a coffee, which would have been laughable 20 years ago, even in Italy. I frequent Starbucks…"

"Tearo is a great shop too - try the "flat white", sort of a short latte with no foam - in my opinion this is the best cup on Queen!   S"
