Street Performers Wanted

Attention buskers, and street performers!

The Businesses of Leslieville are looking for all types of family friendly performers for the first annual Lesliville Summerlust.

Summerlust will take place Thursday, June 21 from 6-10 pm on Queen St. East between Jimmie Simpson Park and Coxwell Ave.

Street performance will add vibrancy and action to the retail strip that will be open late to host special events in celebration of the season.

Warm Weather

Finally! It was so refreshing to once again have a breath of warm spring air in the city. I loved being outside today, taking in all the flowers, birds, and lots of butterflies!

I'm a new transplant to the area so it was great to be able to walk around and see what my new 'hood has to offer. I had lots of visions of me and my BF enjoying picnic lunches this summer, strolls along Queen East and brunch at all the new (to me!) places in the area.
