The Patio Club is supporting tomorrow's Leslieville STOMP by congregating at Stratengers! I'll be there at 2:00 but if anyone gets there earlier feel free to start without me. The weather looks iffy so I'm not sure if their patio will be appropriate or not, but they have lots of room inside too.
The STOMP is shaping up to be a big event - lots of street sales, lots of special offers at stores, restaurants and other businesses in Leslieville. Take a break from all the fun and join us…

I never watch it, and I slept in today anyway. But my neighbour tells me that Leslieviller.com and the STOMP were featured on Breakfast TV this a.m. Did anyone catch it? What did they say?

Hello All,
I hope everyone is enjoying their gardens! I have gone a little overboard putting in new perennials over the last few weeks. It is so darn addictive. I think my favourite so far is the white bleeding heart that is now residing in my front yard. I never knew that a white one existed - so much to learn! I also added in the front: purple coneflower, colombine, white japanese anemone, windflower, solomon's seal, lily of the valley, chicks n' hens, asiatic lilies and a red…

Alright, maybe a little dramatic. But still fun!
Online early this morning, and to be published in this Sunday's New York Times, is a great travel article on many of Toronto's fun neighbourhoods, including Leslieville of course!

I'm seeing/hearing chatter around the net that Cream Urban Dairy is opening in Leslieville. I might have the name wrong because I can't find anything at all about it online. Google's giving me NOTHING. Does anyone here have any info? I'd love to have a dairy outlet close by.

Just FYI everyone... multiple accounts from people on the Leslieville Yahoo Group about a man knocking on doors after midnight, asking for money. Here's the most recent post:
This guy struck again last night on Bertmount at 12:30 am. My neighbour
answered the door (thinking it was me) and the guy introduced himself as
being a neighbour who lived at 76 Bertmount. He asked to speak to her
husband so she went and got him. The guy then gave the whole story… Continue

Parts Gallery
1150 Queen St. E.
(416) 465-8500
Going to an art gallery is like being at a cocktail party. There may be those who inspire you, bore you, or leave you a bit confused. There are those who will make you believe in love at first sight, and for days you won’t be able to get them out of your head. Some intimidate, with pretentions that have you running for the tequila bar. And then there are those where you feel at ease, leaving yourself open to new relationships.…
