The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, December 30, 2009, between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., a female sex worker met a man in the Queen Street East/Curzon Street area,

- they walked to a nearby gas station,

- the man then stabbed the woman in the head and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as white, 40s, 5’6", skinny build, clean-shaven with light hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Man faces seven charges in sexual assault investigation

On Friday, January 22, 2010, a man was arrested in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, December 30, 2009, between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., a female sex worker met a man in the Queen Street East/Curzon Street area,

- they walked to a nearby gas station,

- the man then stabbed the woman in the head and sexually assaulted her.

Kevin Anderson, 41, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault,
2) Sexual Assault with a Weapon,
3) Forcible Confinement,
4) Threatening Death,
5) Assault,
6) Two counts of Breach of Recognizance.
